ArsenalTalk - Ebay titbits a real find

A bit of light relief in these darkest of times.

If you aren't clicking on our shop link to the left and getting a nifty new t-shirt then I hope you are directing your custom to the club through its official outlets.

I would recommend getting the Finsbury Park and the World of Sport as there are some real bargains down there.

Ebay is a constant source of amusement to me. I have seen so many 'dubious' garments that it makes me wonder why the club bothered going to all that bother with the crest.

I read in a girly magazine that the other half had left lying around the house that despite being cheap and cheerful whilst remaining faithful to authentic garments, you could be funding drug running or terrorism by going for fake Vuitton or Nike on the Bay.

There have been redcurrant shirts on there with the Emirates logo in recent times and someone must be buying them becuase there are 23 pages of Arsenal shirts for sale. Most of them of far-Eastern original. And whilst I am not categorically stating that they are fake (some sellers claim to get them direct from factories thus cutting out the middle man) the club is losing valuable revenue. Interesting stuff with the top 20 clubs list coming out today.

But I promised you light relief and that comes from this Ebay seller...

Click here, but before you do select the red shirt with the white stripe thing down the front and read the description... Priceless, I could just see my families response if I turned up to a wedding in that!

JimmytheCuckoo (Not as miserable as Mystic Begg)

PS I know that 'dubious' merchandise and the rich club list is not a joking matter but let your hair down, ok?!!
1 Your opinion.

Not feeling miserable - just frustrated. I'm commited to the club whether they be fighting for throphies, fighting to keep away from relegation, signing / losing top players...

Ultimately I feel less about the success (though I do thoroughly enjoy) of Arsenal, than about the on pitch commitment.

A lot of people have claimed this is a transitional season (not Arsene Wenger, yet), but why should that affect commitment? it can at times be too easy a get-out clause (particularly when about players).

In the end, win lose or draw, passionate or not, top or bottom - it will always be ARSENAL FOREVER
