England result had some bright news

As an England fan I thought the Macedonia game was dire, if only I could have forseen last night!

1 point from 6 simply isn't good enough, Israel and Russia must have been wetting themselves with delight. Poor game, poor tactics, poor application and a poor showing by some mindless thugs outside the ground - hey ho, nothing really new then!

OK, as an Arsenal fan I can see a brighter side to the Croatia mess:

Manure's Neville scoring an own goal - classic

Scum's goalkeeper Robinson at fault - gets better

Chelski's Tweedy getting injured - oh so sweet

England's dum dum choice as manager proving why he was a last resort - and no one can point a finger at Dein!

The irony now is that the wonder kid Walcott is scoring when the 1st squad can't, but Maclaren having so firmly dumped Theo can hardly promote him until he is playing regular football for Arsenal, imagine how he must be hassling Wenger at the moment!

Still international football over and a return to domestic bliss this weekend and hopefully time that Henry starts to Va Va Voom, by bagging a hattrick over the hornets.

Be seeing you
