So another away defeat for Arsenal at the hands of Fulham in last nights Premiership encounter.

The West London side were rapid out of the blocks and in truth we never recovered from their two goal early salvo.

It was more abject defending at a corner which led to the first goal and all of last seasons away and set piece frailty is back with avengence. They seemed to be holding a much higher line than was neccessary when getting caught for the second goal. But credit has to go to Fulham for creating and finishing the opportunities that came their way.

Robin Van Persie pulled us back in it with a wonderful free kick and my criticism of him is proving hard to justify at the moment. But despite replacing the 'ineffective' Alex Song with Cesc Fabregas it was a frustrating second half with offiside goals and woodwork hitting for both sides.

In the end we couldn't get a point and anyone who still believed the Premiership was coming to the Emirates after Bolton was put out of their misery last night.

So who's fault was it then?

Was it the Assistant Referee who put his flag up when Henry was marginally offside? Was it the fixture computer as Arsene Wenger claimed after the match?

No, it wasn't anyones fault. They played better and took their chances. End of.

So please Mr Wenger, whilst I am not going to join the growing hoardes on your back, I would appeal to you to call it as it is, just for once, and admit that the better side beat us.

Maybe then we can address some of the issues in finding out why our opponents wanted it more or took their chances better and we can then get back to winning matches.

But do it quick eh? We've got that lot on Saturday and I want to keep up the record of not losing to them this millennium!
