| Figured Arsenal would only get a single Easter point over Utd, but assumed that to to be at the Emirates on Saturday, not Easter Monday at St.James Park. 2 games no goals scored and the mess get murkier. The point today might have stopped a 3 game Premiership losing streak and in the past probably would have been viewed as a point won but in truth, after dropping all three on Saturday, the perfomance and the outcome just weren't good enough. In a season of second rate performances this would have to be up with them all. A handful of shots, poor distribution and a lack of positive thinking (on both sides), all made for a poor match and Arsenal's first goaless Premiership draw for well over 12 months. Just to sum up the lack of attitude, even Jens Lehmann couldn't even be bothered to react when given a bit of a kicking - Newcastle's Taylor must belong to a very select group within the Premiership not to feel the retribution of Arsenal's 'keeper! The Tw*t in the Black continued his unjustly book an Arsenal player campaign (was the incompetent fool who sent off Adebayor in Cardiff) when he cautioned Lungberg, who had the termerity to complain after Webb failed to see 4 feet in front of himself when Freddie was hauled back as he ran into a scoring position. Oh how my heart rate increased (not) when I saw Baptista being brought on. What the hell was the bumbling Brazilian even doing being on the bench? I'm not joining any anti AW campaign, but frankly this is one decision the Frenchman just keeps getting wrong. Too many people are convinced Arsenal just don't have the personnel, sorry but I disagree. The biggest obstacle at the moment is AW's refusal to admit when he gets something wrong - it hasn't happen often but, on the odd occasion, trying to get AW to admit an error is hopeless. At least for the first time for a while, at the back Arsenal appeared more at ease. Unfortunately in the middle of the pitch and up front the lethargy was such that any better opposition would have punished the frequent loss of possession through unforced errors. After the West Ham defeat and the bore draw against Newcastle, it seems the most important result this holiday was actually by Arsenal's next visitors, Bolton. At least their draw at home to Everton maintained Arsenal's grip on 4th spot - but it really sums up Arsenal's poor position this season when it comes down mainly to other results to find some respite! Be seeing you
