| Saturday produced nothing new, Arsenal creating a horde of chances and ended up failing to take maximum points. All the same, any points at WHL are welcome and the longer the Arsenal jinx over the scum continues…. Whilst the outcome suggested the usual proliferate approach by Arsenal, it really didn’t sum up just how darn lucky the scum were. A very close off-side call wiping out a Gunners’ strike after 10minutes, Eboue, Toure & Adebayor hitting the woodwork, Baptista & Adebayor failing to hit open goals, Arsenal conceding an equaliser after 94minutes! The sooner Baptista gets onboard the flight to Madrid the better, he’s had his chances and simply proved yet again that he cannot hack the pressure and pace of the Premiership – his second half headed miss of an open goal was embarrassing - wonder if the scum want him? for free! Watching the match in a pub overflowing with scum supporters, at one end some 25-30 Gooners had congregated, the whoops of joy and derision from the rest of the place were awful as Arsenal failed to secure the 3pts, firstly by missing so many opportunities and then horrifically with Jenas hitting an equaliser in time added on to added time! How much a draw means to the white half of I still don’t get where the hell the officials found 4 minutes of added time for the second half? resulting with the scum equalising on 94minutes and 7 seconds - even then the referee didn’t blow, so that the second half added time ended up as 5minutes and 32 seconds! And they say officials are getting better. The 2nd half performance, not the outcome, is why Arsene Wenger will be staying at the Emirates - after all, would he want to let someone else have the pleasure of finishing his project? Goods news, the papers are giving consistent reports about Arsene Wenger’s future, well almost!!! Couldn’t help but think of that Portuguese idiot down the Old Kings Road who was lamenting recently about how the media was picking on his situation and how much easier it was for other managers, including none other than Arsene Wenger! In the last 48hrs the media have suggested: That Dein’s departure automatically means Arsene will leave; The Arsenal board’s opposition to Kroenke is in line with Wenger’s views that oppose ‘sugar daddy’ take-overs; Arsene’s interaction with the remaining board is such that he has no problems working with them, may one day join them and even in fact could be groomed as a future chairman; He is considering a summer move to the German Bundesliga; The FA are lining up Wenger to take on the I think he’ll not only stay this summer, but also extend his contract – then again it’s been reported that the Queen is a Gooner, so maybe he’ll become a royal courtier!! Be seeing you
